Unclaimed Items

Luna Dry Cleaning is not responsible for articles that are not picked up within a reasonable time. Items left unclaimed will be handled in accordance with applicable Ontario regulations governing unclaimed personal property.

Care of Your Garments

We take great care in handling every item entrusted to us and select cleaning methods we believe are appropriate for each garment's fabric and condition. However, we cannot be held liable for damage caused by pre-existing flaws, hidden defects, or inherent weaknesses in materials that were not evident before processing.

This limitation applies especially, though not exclusively, to items made from suede, leather, silk, satin, double-faced fabrics, vinyl, polyurethane, and similar delicate or specialty materials. We also disclaim responsibility for damage to or loss of decorative elements such as trim, buckles, beads, buttons, bells, and sequins.

Laundering

When laundering garments, we cannot guarantee that colours will not fade or bleed, that fabrics will not shrink, or that fragile or delicate textiles will withstand the wash process without damage.

Item Counts and Claims

Any discrepancy in the number of items returned must be reported to us within 48 hours of pickup, and your original claim ticket must be presented at that time. If no written inventory was provided with your order, our item count will be considered accurate.

Limitation of Liability

In the event that an article is lost or damaged while in our care, Luna Dry Cleaning's total liability shall not exceed ten times the service charge for cleaning or processing that specific item.

Online Orders

Pickup and delivery bookings placed through our website are processed using CleanCloud, a third-party ordering platform. Luna Dry Cleaning remains responsible for the cleaning and care of your garments. Information you provide when booking online is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
