Knowing what actually drives that price before you drop the dress off makes the quote a lot less of a surprise.
What it starts at, and what changes it

- Fabric. Silk, satin, and hand-beaded or embroidered detail take longer to clean safely than a synthetic blend, and the cleaning method has to match the fabric, not the other way around.
- Staining severity. Fresh grass, wine, or makeup stains treat differently than the same stains after they’ve had days to set. A dress that’s been sitting for a couple of weeks usually needs more work than one brought in right away.
- Beading and embellishment. Anything with hand-applied detail has to be worked around carefully rather than cleaned as one uniform surface.
What’s included in the price
Every gown is inspected individually before anything happens, stains are pre-treated by hand at the hemline, underarms, and neckline, the dress is cleaned alone rather than with other garments, and it’s re-inspected and hand-pressed at the end. We’ll always give you a quote after we’ve seen the dress, not before, so the price reflects what your gown actually needs.
How long it takes
Wedding gowns take longer than a standard garment because of the hand inspection and finishing involved. We’ll give you a specific timeline once we’ve seen the dress, so if you’re working around a deadline, tell us upfront and we’ll be honest about whether it’s realistic.
A note on preservation
We specialize in cleaning, not long-term preservation or archival boxing. If you’re looking to store your gown safely afterward, we’re happy to advise on that, a breathable garment bag, away from light and humidity, but it’s worth knowing the distinction before you book.
